š About Me
I am a graduate student pursuing an MS in Applied Data Science at New College of Florida, with an undergraduate background in Geography from National Taiwan University. My recent focus is on spatial data and UAV remote sensing for mangrove ecosystem monitoring.
Before graduate school, I spent six years in software development in Taipei, building data infrastructure and analytics tooling for quantitative trading teams. I currently also serve as a Teaching Assistant at New College.

- Designed an end-to-end data processing workflow for multi-temporal multispectral drone surveys in coastal mangrove environments.

Multi-Omic Differential Analysis & Poster Presentation at SMHCS (2026)
- Investigated tissue-specific molecular responses to physical exercise using the public MoTrPAC dataset and microarray expression profiles.
- Applied empirical Bayes linear modeling (
limma) in R to identify sexually dimorphic metabolomic and transcriptomic signatures. - Presented findings as a peer-reviewed research poster at the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System (SMHCS) Interprofessional Research Conference.

- Implemented and evaluated convolutional neural network (CNN) architectures for object detection and neural style transfer synthesizing geographic imagery.
- Synthesized the structural transition from two-stage regional detectors (R-CNN, Fast/Faster R-CNN) to instance segmentation frameworks (Mask R-CNN).
